Cumberland County deputies and medics responded last Friday to a head-on vehicle accident on the 2,000 block of Chestnut Hill Road. The report says a BMW driven by 25-year-old Cheyenne Summer Mayo of Crossville left her lane of travel and struck an oncoming Chevy Silverado operated by 26-year-old Darren Sam Baker. One individual in the truck was transported to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Officers allegedly smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from Mayo. She was arrested for DUI and taken to the Cumberland County Jail.
