CROSSVILLE/CUMBERLAND COUNTY RESIDENTS OPEN THEIR HEARTS TO HURRICANE VICTIMS
Crossville and Cumberland County residents poured their hearts out to hurricane stricken Texas Tuesday by donating items needed in the storm-ravaged area. A contingent of people, working with Cumberland Fellowship Church sent out the word and neighbors helped neighbors by opening their hearts and pocketbooks. The collection point, the Crossville Airport, was overwhelmed with contributions and will continue to accept donations today beginning at 8 AM. They say that clothing donations are no longer needed. Items needed today (8-30) are:
Medical supplies (band-aids, aspirin, Tylenol, ibuprofen, first aid)
Sports drinks (Gatorade and Powerade)
Dry foods
Flashlights and batteries.
