The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is this Saturday (October 24, 2020) from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. local time statewide as a safe way for citizens to dispose of unwanted or expired medication.

In Roane County, you can drop off at Big Emory Baptist Association at 1245 South Roane Street in Harriman and the Kingston City Hall. Because of COVID-19, both of these events will be drive through. Needles and inhalers will not be accepted.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department will participate at the sheriff’s office and the Crossville Police Department will be at Walmart.
