The Cumberland County Board of Education will discuss a proposed new contract for the director of schools, Janet Graham, at their meeting tonight. The contract calls for three more years running from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2023. Graham’s salary would be set at $109,778 annually. The board meeting starts at 6 p.m. tonight at the school systems central office on 4^th Street in Crossville. The public is welcome to attend the meeting. Anyone wishing to address the school board either for or against the contract is invited to sign up to do so prior to the meeting and will be given up to three minutes each as part of the community comments on the agenda.
