Kingston firefighters responded Tuesday afternoon to Morrison Hills Apartments on Paint Rock Ferry Road. A fire in one of the dwellings was contained to the kitchen. A female and her grandson were at home at the time of the fire and were not injured. They were assisted by the American Red Cross for lodging. They hope to be back in their apartment in a couple of days.
