The Cumberland County Board of Education unanimously approved a sewage-disposal study Wednesday night for Crab Orchard School at a cost of $7,100. Sewage has been an issue at the school for some time. The two possibilities to remedy the problem are either look for land on site to install a septic system or pump the sewage to Crossville. That would require easements for pipe routes toward the city. Details of the study are expected soon.
