Deputies in Cumberland County responded to Lantana Grace Baptist Church Saturday for an intoxicated man lying in a ditch. A check of 37-year-old Jesse Anthony Harwell revealed outstanding warrants. After supposedly failing to leave his hands in plain sight for the officer, Harwell was taken to the ground and placed into custody for public intoxication.
