CUMBERLAND COUNTIAN INDICTED FOR MURDER IN RHEA COUNTY
This week, a Rhea County grand jury indicted Stanton Lee Reagan of Crossville on multiple charges involving a death.
The report released today states Reagan was taken into custody Wednesday in Robertson County, Tennessee. He was extradited back to Rhea County.
On May 12, 2022, deputies in Rhea County responded to a stabbing on Possum Trot Road in Grandview. Upon arrival, they found Thomas C. Simpson deceased.
Reagan is charged with first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery, first-degree murder in perpetration of a crime, and possession of methamphetamine.
Reagan is being held in the Rhea County jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
