CUMBERLAND COUNTY COMMISSION TO HOLD REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING TONIGHT
The Cumberland County Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting tonight, Monday, September 21, 2026, at 6:00 PM CDT. The open public session will take place in the Cumberland Room at the Art Circle Public Library, located at 3 East Street in Crossville.
Led by Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster, the agenda features a packed schedule of local governance and financial decisions. Key items up for consideration include:

Building & Infrastructure: A resolution authorizing the demolition and reconstruction of the Cumberland County Election Commission, Highway Department, and Maintenance building.

Appointments: The appointment of one judicial commissioner for the county.

Budget Amendments: Numerous financial resolutions concerning general county operations, the Sheriff’s Department, Ambulance Service, Parks & Fair Boards, and the Westel Community Utility Infrastructure.

School Board Matters: A series of budget amendments addressing federal grants, school security, health services, and staff recruitment and retention for Cumberland County Schools.
