The Cumberland County Community Band received an anonymous donation of $20,000 for the STARTS program. The donor has requested that the donation be used to begin a Matching Gift Campaign to further fund the STARTS program. All new and increased gifts to STARTS will go toward the campaign.

STARTS, an acronym for Support The ARTS, was established in 2016. Since then, through generous donors, STARTS has provided instruments, instrument repair, music, art and theater supplies, and other equipment for the band, chorus, art, and theater programs in Cumberland County schools. The Fine Arts teachers in the county are very grateful for the help they receive to ensure their students receive a well-rounded education.
