Friday afternoon, Cumberland County deputies noticed a man known to have outstanding warrants approaching a local auto-sales garage area. As they followed him, 21-year-old Sean Patrick Mutchler of Decatur ran out the front door, through the car-wash area and into the woods. Mutchler was apprehended in the Charleston Plantation apartments property. He was taken into custody and charged with evading arrest and outstanding warrants for failure to appear and violation of probation. Bond was set at $2,000 for the evading and failure to appear charges; Mutchler was held without bond on the violation of probation charge; he’s due to appear in court May 10.
