CUMBERLAND COUNTY DEPUTIES RESPOND TO ALTERCATION INVOLVING FIREARM
Cumberland County deputies responded Monday to a home on the 1700 block of Poplar Drive for an altercation involving a firearm.
The arrest report indicates officers encountered 49-year-old Michael Anthony Bice, who allegedly admitted to brandishing the weapon as a result of an argument with a male.
Bice told deputies he did not point the 9mm firearm at the victim, but he intended to scare him to get him out of the house.
A family member recorded part of the incident where the firearm was involved.
Bice was arrested for domestic aggravated assault and reckless endangerment involving a deadly weapon.
He was taken to the Cumberland County jail and initially placed on bonds totaling $16,000.
