The Tennessee Highway Patrol and medics recently responded to a vehicle accident on Peavine Road near Stone Loop in Cumberland County.

The report released today states a 2013 Honda operated by 70-year-old Richard L. Simpson and a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Stephen D. Biblrey were both traveling south in the right lane.

Troopers say Simpson slowed to make a turn into a business parking lot and was rear-ended by Biblrey.

Simpson told officers his back was sore from the impact.

The report states that Biblrey was issued a citation for following too close.
