CUMBERLAND COUNTY FIREFIGHTERS CALLED TO OLD MOBILE HOME BLAZE

Cumberland County firefighters answered the call of a structure fire Saturday afternoon. Crews were dispatched to 374 Oakes Rd. where a dilapidated mobile home had been burning. According to Assistant Chief John Hall, the structure went up quickly and was pretty much burned out upon their arrival. The trailer structure had been abandoned for some years and there was no electricity or running water hooked up. Assistant Chief Hall said that the home had been occupied by nesters however no one was present when the fire broke out.
