CUMBERLAND COUNTY JAIL INMATE FOUND WITH METH

A routine shakedown in pod 546 of the Cumberland County jail yesterday resulted in an inmate being charged for possession of meth. K-9 officer Apollo found four yellow pills among 32-year-old Jacob Lee Snyder’s personal belongings in his jail-issued property tote. When the pills were broken apart, deputies found a crystalline substance inside, which tested positive for meth. The approximate weight was 2.4 grams. Snyder, who had been serving time for violation of a child-support order, was charged with felony possession of meth and held on $20,000 bond. He’s due in court tomorrow.
