A Cumberland County man is facing indictments by a grand jury of aggravated assault of a law-enforcement officer and evading arrest. According to court documents, 38-year-old Ruben Lynn Scarlett reportedly put Sgt. Tim Vandever in danger of imminent bodily injury with a vehicle in January of this year. Scarlett will be arraigned on the charges in Cumberland County Criminal Court May 15, 2018.
