A Cumberland County man was sentenced for a child sex crime in criminal court today.

Court officials say the original charge against 37-year-old Pedro Lucas Santizo was child rape.

He accepted a plea deal where he entered a plea of guilty to aggravated sexual battery of a victim under the age of 13.

He received ten years to serve in prison at 100 percent.
