A Cumberland County resort has reported a break-in. Last week the owners of Timberland Resort LLC told authorities that someone pried open a locked office door to gain entry to the location of a safe which contained between $10,000-$14,000 in cash. The safe, which also held two money bags with change, was taken in the theft. Another $1000 in cash was stolen from a money drawer in the lobby of the business. There was no sign of forced entry there and the investigation is ongoing.
