SCHOOL BOARD APPROVES UPGRADES TO SOUTH ELEMENTARY, REPLACE ROOF AT PINE VIEW
The Cumberland County Board of Education has approved a $546,000 bid to start upgrades at South Cumberland Elementary School. It includes renovating the restrooms, kitchen, interior stairs, locker rooms, and the lobby. Officials say a new ADA-compliant restroom will be built near the gym.
The school board accepted a separate bid of $168,000 by Turner Roofing to replace the roof at Pine View Elementary School.
