CUMBERLAND COUNTY SCHOOLS RENEWS PARENTSQUARE PLATFORM FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
Cumberland County Schools has officially announced that it will continue using ParentSquare as its primary communication platform for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
The platform serves as a centralized hub, consolidating all district, school, sports, and classroom announcements into a single stream. Parents and guardians can receive these updates via email, text message, the dedicated mobile app, or a standard web browser. To ensure accessibility for all families, the platform automatically translates communications into the user’s preferred language.
According to district officials, ParentSquare will be utilized for:
-
Urgent Alerts: Real-time updates on school delays, early dismissals, and weather-related closings.
-
Direct Messaging: Two-way communication between parents, teachers, and school staff.
-
Administrative Tasks: Digital forms, permission slips, and parent-teacher conference sign-ups.
-
Media & Schedules: Access to school calendars, event photos, and volunteer opportunities.
“All school, grade-level, and classroom communications will continue to come through ParentSquare,” the district stated in a message to families, emphasizing the importance of the platform in fostering student success.
The school administration is encouraging all parents to download the free ParentSquare mobile app, available on both iOS and Android devices, or to log in via www.parentsquare.com to ensure they remain fully updated for the 2026-2027 academic year.
