A sex offender in Cumberland County has been sentenced to two years in prison for violation of the sex-offender registry. Court officials say 40-year-old Phillip Lee Matherly will receive 18 days credit for time already served. According to the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry, Matherly was convicted in 1997 for attempted aggravated sexual battery.
