From the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office:

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday afternoon, January 12, 2026, at a convenience store located on Highway 70 North in Cumberland County.

Deputies responded to the scene shortly after 3:00 p.m. and determined that a male suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun, and fled the area on foot after the robbery. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, white t-shirt, gray pants, and a black face mask at the time of the incident.

This case remains an active and ongoing investigation.  Additional information cannot be released at this time.
