CUMBERLAND COUNTY SHERIFFS RESPOND TO LSN SCAM

On Wednesday, Deputy Tristin Partridge responded to Highway 70 North about a scam. Upon arriving at 1:54 p.m. Deputies Aidyn Smith and Partridge made contact with the owner of Masterbilt who said he noticed a fraudulent posting of one of his grey sheds on LSN.

The post was created on Tuesday, and the caller doesn’t know who the individual is who made the post but knows they took pictures of the shed in person. The scammer’s account name is Tbone12.

The shed is listed for 5,000 dollars, and the caller believes that the individual is hoping to scam LSN users for down payment money.

There are no known suspects at this time.
