Thursday night was a time for teacher recognition by the Cumberland County Board of Education. Director of Schools Janet Graham presented the Teachers of the Year District Level Winners. Rachel Davis received the award for Pre K-4 grade, with Cindy Miniard receiving the award for 5-8 grade. Kim Herring received the award for 9-12 grade. Chris King was also recognized for receiving the FCCLA Administrator of the Year Award for 2017.
