The Cumberland County Board of Education recognized the 2017-18 Teachers of the Year at Thursday night’s monthly meeting. Laura Brown from Martin Elementary was awarded the honor for PreK-4th grade with Debra Stout of North Cumberland Elementary receiving the award for the 5th-8th grade. Mr. Drew Berta of Stone Memorial High School was awarded the honor for 9th-12th grade. He was not present to accept the award.
