CUMBERLAND COUNTY WOMAN ARRESTED ON DRUG AND WEAPONS CHARGES
A Cumberland County woman is facing several charges after a traffic stop Wednesday on Mayland Loop. Deputies say 27-year-old Krystal Diamond Schuyler of Crossville was stopped because the officer had prior knowledge her license was suspended. Schuyler reportedly told the officer she had something illegal in her purse. A search of the purse allegedly revealed a plastic bag containing meth and a loaded semi-automatic handgun. Officers say Schuyler had been convicted of felony meth possession in 2012. A search of her vehicle reportedly revealed more meth and a set of digital scales. Schuyler was arrested for manufacture, sale and delivery of meth, driving on a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm while committing a felony and unlawful possession of a firearm.
