CUMBERLAND COUNTY WOMAN CHARGED FOR APARTMENT IN TEXAS
On Saturday Deputy Jeffrey Brown spoke with a woman in reference to Identity theft. The victim said that on the 12th, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Credit Systems Incorporated hit her credit for $552, she quickly got a hold of the credit department who said they would start working on getting her credit fixed due to the identity theft.
On the 14th at approximately 12:00 p.m., the victim received a phone call from Hunter Warfield credit collections stating that approximately $7,000 was charged to her credit due to an apartment being rented and property damages done by the suspect while they were residing at the location.
The apartment was in Gables Post Oak in Houston, TX, and the victim said she talked to someone who seemed to be young and inadequate to help her out. Saying that the man she spoke with said the manager would contact her but so far has yet to do so.
No suspects are currently known and no arrests have been made.
