The Cumberland County School Board unveiled results of a new survey wherein parents, Guardians, Employees, Students, and more were asked their opinions on middle schools, specifically their opinions on moving students from schools covering PreK to 8th grade to schools that only cover 6th to 8th.

The board expressed surprise over the results, which seemed to overwhelmingly favor middle schools.
“I’ve been in this district for over 26 years,” Said Director of Schools Rebecca Farley. “I’ve seen lots of middle school surveys go out. I have never seen one this in-favor.”
