DAILY TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH COVID-19 REPORT – WEDNESDAY, JULY 8, 2020

The following is from today’s Tennessee Department of Health COVID-19 report:

TENNESSEE – 21,687 (up 1,563 cases from yesterday) active cases in Tennessee out of 55,986 total cases (up 2,472 cases since yesterday)

  • 32,736 recovered (up 909 since yesterday)
  • 685 died (up 20 from yesterday)
  • 3,023 had to be hospitalized (up 73 since yesterday)
  • 950,540 tested (up 29,739 since yesterday)

ANDERSON – 78 active remaining cases (up 19 cases from yesterday) out of 166 total cases (up 23 cases from yesterday), 2 fatalities, 8,648 negative tests

BLEDSOE – 9 active remaining cases (down 1 case from yesterday) of 624 total cases (up 1 case from yesterday), 1 fatality, 3,829 negative tests

CLAY – 5 active case (down 2 cases from yesterday) out of 18 total case (down 1 case from yesterday), 784 negative tests

MCMINN – 84 remaining active cases (up 11 cases from yesterday) out of 255 total cases (up 12 cases from yesterday), 18 fatalities, 4,762 negative tests

MEIGS – 7 remaining active cases (up 2 cases from yesterday) out of 34 total cases (up 2 cases from yesterday), 1,018 negative tests
