DAVIS ARRESTED ON FELONY & MISDEMEANOR DRUG CHARGES

Saturday evening, Cumberland County deputies were summoned to a Fish Road home for a report of a burglary in progress. There they found 33-year-old Christopher Lee Davis of Crossville, carrying a tool bag in the back yard of the neighbor’s residence. A consent search of the bag turned up two needles, a plastic spoon, a small plastic bag with residue that field tested positive for meth, and a plastic bag containing several plastic straws that also field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Davis also had a set of digital scales and a small amount of marijuana on him, along with another small plastic baggie of meth. Davis was charged with felony possession of meth, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana and placed under $9,000 bond. He’s due in court January 28.
