Cumberland County law enforcement recently responded to an area on the 200 block of Critter Creek Road for a man hit by a vehicle. The report indicates a black Saturn SUV operated by 49-year-old Stephanie Dainelle Dean of Crossville drove towards the victim and ran him over pinning him underneath the vehicle. A witness said the man came out of a camper after he heard a crash sound when Dean hit an object in the yard with her automobile. The victim attempted to jump out of the way when Dean allegedly drove at him. He sustained injuries to his leg. Dean was arrested for felony aggravated assault.
