HOWARD ENTERS PLEA OF GUILTY TO AGGRAVATED ANIMAL CRUELTY IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
Court officials say 25-year-old Jordyn Shae Howard of Crossville entered a plea of guilty to aggravated animal cruelty this week in criminal court. A sentencing hearing will be held January 20, 2021. According to state law, Howard faces a range of 1 to 6 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $3,000. Howard did not take care of a dog at a Prentice Street home. It was rescued by A Time 4 Paws volunteer. The canine was taken to a veterinarian and later euthanized because of its poor health after being very malnourished.
