DEBORD TAKEN INTO CUSTODY AFTER REPORTED BURGLARY IN PROGRESS

Crossville police went to a home on Oak Street Sunday for a burglary in progress. The arrest report indicates 24-year-old Timothy James “T.J.” Debord took off running from the home and was subdued in a front yard of a residence on Brookhaven Drive. Debord claimed he was getting his belongings from the Oak Street home but officers learned the homeowner did not give him permission to do so. A check revealed Debord was wanted on charges including possession of meth, theft of merchandise and evading arrest. A search of Debord reportedly revealed a small bag of meth. Debord was arrested for felony possession of meth and aggravated criminal trespassing.
