The Decatur Fire Department responded to the 1000 block of Peakland Road for mutual aid for Meigs County Emergency Services.

Units were requested to bring their manhole lift because a resident fell approximately 15 feet down into a well.

Units were able to lift the patient out of the hole with her puppy safely and quickly.

The name and condition of the woman is unknown, but the puppy was unharmed.
