DEER CAUSES TUESDAY’S SUV ROLLOVER ON HIGHWAY 68
Two 21-year-old Tennessee women escaped injury late last month following a single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 68.
According to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on Tuesday. Driver Gracie Miller was traveling northbound in a 1999 Ford Explorer when she swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway.
The vehicle ran off the right side of the road. An over-correction caused the SUV to roll, coming to a final rest on its driver-side door.
Both Miller and her passenger, Claire Buda, were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Authorities confirmed that neither sustained injuries and no charges are pending from the incident.
