The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 9 a.m. central time Thursday, August 8, 2019.  In the listening area, it includes Cumberland, Fentress, Pickett, Overton, Putnam and White County.

• VISIBILITY…Areas of less than one quarter mile

• IMPACTS…Driving conditions will be impacted, especially during the morning commute.

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
