DEPUTIES CATCH MAN IN QUARANTINED METH LAB HO– USE
A Dunlap man has been charged with criminal trespassing in Roane County. Deputies were dispatched to an abandoned house at 678 Skyline Drive for suspicious activity. The residence had been under quarantine because it had been involved in a meth lab operation. The structure was still sealed with tape and signs were still posted on the property. Officers made contact with 19-year-old Johnathan Mansfield through an open window. Mansfield exited the home through the window, the same way that he had gotten inside. The suspect had no prior permission to enter the house and so was charged. He was taken to the Roane County Detention Facility without incident.
