DEPUTIES: EDMONDS ARRESTED AFTER ALLEGEDLY PULLING SHOTGUN ON THREE IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

A Cumberland County man was taken into custody yesterday afternoon after allegedly pulling a shotgun on three individuals. The arrest report states the three went to a home on Oak Street to pick up a vehicle belonging to a girlfriend of one of them from 21-year-old Jacob Ryan Edmonds of Crossville. Officers state Edmonds took off in the vehicle with the three in pursuit of him. Edmonds allegedly stopped at the intersection of Rock Quarry Road and the bypass, got out of the car and pulled a shotgun pointing it at the three in the other vehicle. Edmonds reported then fled into a wooded area. He was arrested a short time later on Tennessee Stone Road for aggravated assault. Deputies recovered the shotgun in a sand pile about 50 yards from where he was arrested.
