Cumberland County authorities are searching for a man who is wanted for allegedly attacking a female. Deputies responded to a residence on Old Highway 68 this past Thursday (November 9, 2017) where a female victim reported that 33-year-old Zachary Winston Baptist of Crossville allegedly struck her numerous times. According to the report, Baptist then allegedly strangled the victim until she nearly passed out then he fled the scene. Baptist is wanted for aggravated assault.
