DETAILS ON SATURDAY’S CRASH ON HIGHWAY 127 IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
A report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol says that on December 20, 2025, at approximately 11:24 a.m., a two-vehicle rear-end collision occurred on Highway 127 South in Cumberland County, Tennessee.
A 2011 Toyota Camry driven by 43-year-old Elizabeth Adkins of Tennessee, who was wearing a seat belt, struck the rear of a 2013 Nissan Juke driven by 64-year-old Brenda Leary of Tennessee, also wearing a seat belt, as the Nissan slowed in the northbound lane. Both drivers sustained injuries but faced no charges pending the outcome of the investigation.
No passengers were reported in either vehicle. Following the impact, the Toyota came to rest on the southbound shoulder, while the Nissan stopped on the northbound shoulder.
