On May 27, 2025, at approximately 8:53 AM, a motor vehicle accident occurred on West Adams Street in Crossville, Cumberland County, Tennessee, involving two vehicles. The crash, reported by the Crossville Police Department, was a front-to-rear collision between a 2001 Ford Ranger pickup, driven by Tonica Adriana Fox, and a 2016 Kia Sorento, driven by Mark Daniel Fiels.

According to Fox, she was traveling eastbound behind Fiels’ vehicle when it stopped, and she was unable to stop in time, resulting in her vehicle striking the rear of Fiels’ Kia. The Ford sustained functional front-end damage, while the Kia had functional rear-end damage.

Fiels reported back pain and was attended by EMS but refused further treatment and drove his vehicle from the scene. Fox, who was uninjured, was issued a citation for failing to provide proof of insurance. Both drivers were wearing shoulder and lap belts, and no alcohol or drug use was suspected.
