(DEVELOPING STORY) – Loudon County Sheriff’s deputies and Investigators responded today to a home at 25688 Highway 321 South in the Greenback community.

Preliminary information indicates the two homeowners were murdered. One deceased subject was located inside the home and the other outside of the home on another part of the property.

The suspect has been identified as 53-year-old Julian P. Goodrum.

Officers say Goodrum lived on the victim’s property

He is in custody at this time at the Loudon County Detention Center.

There are no additional threats to the public.

The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
