Doris L. Poland, age 87, of Rockwood, Tennessee passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018. She is survived by her sons: Dennis Carl Poland, Robert Lynn Poland, and Kenneth Ardell Poland; daughters: Brenda Joyce Proctor, Janice Louise Daniels, Juanita Carol Anderson, and Mildred Darlene Poland; 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers: Kenneth Earl Gilliam, William Aurbin Gilliam, and David Arnold Gilliam; sister: Evelyn Carol Scearey; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 4 to 6 pm in the chapel of Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. The funeral will be held Friday, February 9, 2018 in the chapel of Evans Mortuary at 2 pm. Interment will be held in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood following the funeral.
