According to sources, a double-fatality accident occurred in Roane County late Wednesday night. Details are sketchy at this time. We do know that the wreck happened around 9 PM EST on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 350. This was reportedly a rollover with two fatalities which shutdown the interstate in that direction. The interstate has been reopened. No names have been released. Roane County Deputies, Harriman Police, Roane County EMS and rescue squads responded along with the Tennessee Highway Patrol. 1057 News will have additional information as it comes in.
