DRIVER ARRESTED AFTER LOGS FALLS OFF TRAILER STRIKING VEHICLES IN FAIRFIELD GLADE
A driver in Cumberland County faces several charges after logs came off a trailer he was recently towing striking vehicles. Law enforcement initially stopped 35-year-old Brandon Wayne Bingaman on Village Drive in Fairfield Glade to let him know items were coming off the trailer. Bingaman reportedly fled the traffic stop turning the logs into projectiles with one nearly striking a resident trying to get into her vehicle. Several cars were damaged in the incident. A lookout was put out for the vehicle Bingaman was driving and it was located on Cherry Branch Road but he was not there. He was later arrested for reckless driving, reckless endangerment, evading arrest, driving on a revoked or suspended license, aggravated criminal littering, and obstruction of a highway or passageway. Bingaman was also cited for several traffic violations.
