Medics and deputies in Cumberland County recently responded to a vehicle crash on the 1500 block of Jim Garrett Road near Kanes Road. The report states an automobile driven by 26-year-old William C. Farmer of Crossville lost control in a curve, entered a ditch then struck a fence and tree. The impact caused the car to flip over coming to rest on its top partially in both lanes. Farmer, who was restrained, escaped injury in the crash.
