DRIVER ESCAPES INJURY IN I-40 VEHICLE ACCIDENT IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
A Knox County citizen escaped injury in a single vehicle accident on I-40 in Cumberland County today. Trooper Chris Bennett says a 2008 Jeep Liberty driven by 19-year-old Darzyria Giles of Knoxville was traveling east at the 317 mile marker when she ran off the road and hit a guardrail. Giles was restrained at the time of impact. Giles was charged with driving without a license or insurance.
