A driver escaped injury in a tractor-trailer accident on I-40 in Cumberland County early this morning.

Troopers say a 2020 Freightliner operated by 23-year-old Bunyod Homidov of California was traveling east at the 330-mile marker near Crab Orchard around 4:30 a.m. when he dropped his headphones.

He reached down to get it and the tractor-trailer left the road on the right side.

The Freightliner ran into trees and jackknifed.

The accident report did not indicate charges against Homidov.
