DRIVER INJURED AFTER TRUCK OVERTURNS IN HOMESTEAD AREA

Cumberland County, TN- Just before 10 PM Tuesday night, first responders were dispatched to HWY 127 in the Homestead area for a single-vehicle accident.

Authorities found a 1998 Dodge Ram crushed at the bottom of an embankment. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol report, the driver was identified as 25-year-old Gregory Raulston. The report states that Mr. Raulston was traveling southbound on HWY 127, crossed into the northbound lane, and then overcorrected. The vehicle then traveled down an embankment and overturned twice coming to a final rest on its top.

The THP report states the driver was not wearing his seatbelt and was injured in the accident.
