A tractor-trailer accident on Highway 68 in the Grassy Cove area of Cumberland County early yesterday morning injured the driver. The Tennessee Highway Patrol stated in their report released this afternoon a 2015 Freightliner operated by 53-year-old Anthony Wayne Jenkins of Clarksville, Tennessee was attempting to negotiate a curve when it ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned on its side. Jenkins, who was restrained at the time of the crash, was transported to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment. He was charged with failure to exercise due care. Traffic was down to one lane at the scene for hours as a result.
